Position Summary The Senior Salesforce Developer will play a pivotal role in optimizing Vega Education Group’s CRM system to enhance efficiency, productivity, and user satisfaction. Reporting to the Director of IT, this role will involve overseeing various responsibilities ranging from routine administrative tasks to system customization and data analysis. The Senior Salesforce Developer will lead successful CRM implementations, ensure data integrity, and promote user adoption through thorough training and support initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Develop and Maintain Salesforce Solutions: Build and customize Salesforce applications using Apex classes, Visualforce pages, test classes, triggers, Visualforce components, web services, REST, and SOAP APIs. Efficiently manage data through tools like Data Loader, sandbox environments, and Salesforce backup solutions. Design and Manage Integrations: Develop and oversee integrations between applications using APIs and cloud-based solutions, ensuring data consistency and synchronization across platforms such as Salesforce, AMS, Canvas LMS, and QuickBooks. Partner with stakeholders to define and implement integration requirements, enhancing operational efficiency. Implement Lightning Web Components (LWC): Drive the implementation of LWCs to improve user experience and streamline business workflows. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Leverage expertise in XML, JSON, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript to deliver robust Salesforce enhancements. Develop Reports and Dashboards: Create advanced reports and dashboards to deliver actionable insights. Document system configurations, workflows, and procedures comprehensively. Provide ongoing user training and develop materials to support the effective adoption of Salesforce features. Perform Related Duties: Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support organizational goals and technology initiatives. The successful candidate will have the following essential qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: At least 7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality solutions. Certifications: Salesforce credentials such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, or Salesforce Certified System Architect. Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce integration technologies. Integration Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading integrations using APIs and middleware tools. Strong knowledge of API protocols, including REST and SOAP, with familiarity in middleware platforms like MuleSoft, Zapier, Boomi, or comparable solutions. Web Development Skills: Expertise in XML, JSON, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript, enabling the development of scalable and robust applications. Problem-Solving Ability: Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex technical issues. Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Innovative Thinking: Adept at identifying and implementing creative solutions to complex, multi-dimensional challenges in dynamic environments. Team Collaboration: Skilled at working collaboratively in culturally diverse teams, demonstrating ethics, accountability, and integrity in all interactions. Interpersonal Skills: Exhibits sound judgment and respect for others in professional interactions, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace.
