Position Summary: ExpediteInfoTech Is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with 8 years of professional Information Technology experience, 5 years of which is hands-on Salesforce Development with a strong background in OmniStudio. The ideal candidate will be a Salesforce expert who can design, develop, and implement robust Salesforce solutions, leveraging OmniStudio to deliver seamless, user-centric experiences. This role requires advanced problem-solving skills, deep technical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams to drive business outcomes.

This is a 100% REMOTE position working east coast hours. Due to government contract requirements, we are seeking candidates who are United States Citizens or Permanent Residents, located in MD, VA, D.C., TX, NC, NJ or FL and able to work on our W2 (salary + benefits package). (No 1099 or Corp-to-Corp inquiries will be entertained).

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable Salesforce solutions using Salesforce OmniStudio (OmniScripts, DataRaptors, FlexCards, and Integration Procedures) to meet complex business needs.
  • Solution Architecture: Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to create Salesforce architecture that aligns with business objectives, adhering to best practices in scalability, security, and performance.
  • Integration Management: Develop and manage integrations with third-party applications and APIs through MuleSoft, ensuring secure, seamless data exchange and interoperability across platforms.
  • Custom Development: Utilize Salesforce development skills, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC) to build custom solutions that enhance and extend Salesforce functionality.
  • OmniStudio Expertise: Optimize the use of OmniStudio components, guiding other developers and team members on best practices for OmniStudio implementation and customization.
  • Project Leadership: Serve as a technical lead on projects, guiding less experienced developers, performing code reviews, and ensuring adherence to coding standards and quality.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Lead efforts in unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing, ensuring solution reliability and performance.
  • Documentation and Training: Document solution designs, technical specifications, and development processes. Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to team members, ensuring efficient use of Salesforce capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Salesforce development experience, with at least 3 years focused on OmniStudio (OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures).
  • Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications required; Salesforce OmniStudio Developer certification strongly preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Salesforce Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and JavaScript.
    • Hands-on experience with OmniStudio components and deep knowledge of building and configuring complex OmniScripts and FlexCards.
    • Experience with integration tools such as REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, and other middleware.
  • Solution Architecture: Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and integration, with the ability to lead solution design and implementation for complex business requirements.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Desired:
  • Additional Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes for Salesforce development.
  • Familiarity with Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and other Salesforce products.
