As a (Senior) Software Developer you will be responsible for supporting our Data Science team in the development of innovative tools in the field of AI & LLMs for materials development.

Your tasks include:

• Holistic development with Python in the data science and data engineering environment
• Realization of microservices and API interfaces, especially in the area of LLMs
• Support with development and implementation in the MS Azure Cloud 
  

• Completed studies in the field of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, information technology or similar 
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development in a corporate context
• Very good knowledge of CI/CD application development in Python, API & microservices
• Additional knowledge: Testing (unit, integration and system tests), linting (e.g. Flake8), Git, Bash/Shell/Powershell, Environments/Docker/Kubernetes/Kafka, data structures, vector databases (Elastic)
• Experience in the areas of front-end development (Streamlit, React), data engineering, source control, and cloud architectures / MLaaS / MLOps (Azure, AWS) 
• Structured, pragmatic and committed way of working
• Reliable, curious team player with enthusiasm for challenges and a willingness to break new ground
• Very good command of English; German is not essential, but helpful
