Position Overview: The Senior React Native Developer will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and deployment of mobile applications for an innovative IoT platform that controls and monitors smart irrigation systems. This role will work in a highly collaborative, agile environment, contributing to the full software development lifecycle. You’ll drive technical decisions and ensure that best practices are followed to build mobile solutions that enhances the user experience. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and maintenance of cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability Write unit, integration, and UI tests for new features and functionality; ensure code quality through automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices for React Native and TypeScript. Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient testing, deployment, and delivery of mobile applications Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to design and implement new features. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Requirements: Job Requirements and Qualifications: 5+ years of software development experience. 3+ years of React Native experience. Strong working knowledge of Typescript, GraphQL, and the Expo framework. Preferred experience building Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) managing updates via service workers. Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Estimate and track tasks using Agile methodologies. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and belief that all efforts contribute to the success of the organization. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience. Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus. Role can be performed remotely, preference given to residents in the DFW area metroplex. For remote employees, quarterly travel expected to our main office in Garland, Texas for 2-3 days per quarter during our headquarters week.
