We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our product engineering group and improve our core platform. TruMedia’s platform enables users to explore a wide array of questions about sports data, and then save and batch those questions for future use. In this role, your responsibilities will include connecting new data sources, integrating the TruMedia platform for a new sport, improving the usability of some of our core features, among other tasks. TruMedia Networks is an industry leader in providing sports analytics research tools to our clients and partners. TruMedia's baseball, football, soccer, basketball, cricket, and rugby platforms provide professional teams and sports media properties with the ability to conduct granular analysis associated with integrated play-by-play video. Your primary role will be developing and maintaining features and infrastructure as part of our Core pod. This includes working with product stakeholders to improve existing features and create new ones. You’ll participate in architecture and design discussions with other engineering team members. You may interface with engineers from our partners or clients regarding integrations or buildout of custom functionality. You’ll also do some general software engineering outside of your pod. About You: 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on core system architecture and platform development Expertise in designing scalable, robust software systems that cater to diverse requirements Proficient in both front-end and back-end technologies, particularly Node.js. Knowledge of Git and modern web application technologies. Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services. Preferred: Familiarity with designing systems that support multiple use cases or product lines, particularly in a sports analytics context Proven track record in developing and maintaining platforms with large amounts of user customization Salary Range: $110K - $150K Benefits and perks Flexible remote work environment.
