Senior Software Test Engineer Radiology Support the testing and release of the Calantic Platform, 3rd party clinical applications, and other DSB products. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Software Test Engineer, are to: Test cloud-based healthcare software as part of an agile product development team; Perform application/sub-system level software analysis to identify design gaps and develop test plans and test cases to ensure the design is correctly implemented and meets customer needs; Develop and maintain automated test cases, automated test pipelines, test infrastructure, and test tooling; C ollaborate with product owners and developers to understand and refine solution requirements and drive appropriate software test coverage; Demonstrate independent analysis and synthesis of solutions for problems, exhibiting creativity, foresight, innovation and judgment in anticipating and solving these problems Work in accordance with the Bayer Quality Management System and processes for regulated software medical devices. WHO YOU ARE Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Required Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field Relevant software development experience; A solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies in software design and testing; Experience with developing automated tests for services and APIs using either: Java or Python Experience developing and/or testing applications using cloud services in AWS, GCP, or Azure; Experience creating continuous integration pipelines using Github actions, Jenkins, or other similar technologies. Preferred Experience: At least five years of relevant software development experience; Experience working in healthcare industry, medical imaging, or testing SaaS products; Google Cloud Platform Certifications or hands-on experience testing solutions with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services Experience with the Java Spring Framework, in particular authoring tests with Spring Test Framework and JUnit. Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $122,000-$183,000 Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
