Web Developer - Remote ChangeIs is an E-Verify employer and requires a government security clearance (and) background check for employment. We are actively recruiting for a Web Developer for a contract to modernize a large suite of applications. The successful candidate possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments; Plans and completes major technology assignments; Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments; Designs, plans and builds software or customize software for use with the aim of satisfying various aspects of requirements for a software release. Please note this is a full-time 100% remote work opportunity with Changeis. Roles and Responsibilities: Reviewing the System Architecture for a new system Contribute to a range of web development activities include front-end, api and scheduled job work. Work both independently and within a team structure. Adhere to and contribute to internal processes. Contribute to technical documentation by writing technical descriptions of system design as well as produce relevant diagrams when useful. Other duties as assigned. SKILL MATRIX At least five years of relevant experience for a US Federal organization preferred Software Development experience with a high-level language such as .NET, Java, Python. Experience with React, Node and Typescript preferred. Familiarity with AWS services. AWS Certifications preferred Designing or customizing complex applications. Able to enhance existing application architecture. Able to establish and modify development standards and practices. Able to be a knowledgeable mentor and peer to the team. Experience evaluating and comparing technologies. Demonstrate completed work to a non-technical audience.
