Title: Epic Games Senior WebRTC Developer

Contract Duration: 1-year contract to hire (Opportunity to convert to FTE between 6 months and a year with strong performance during the first 6 months)
Work Location: Fully Remote (Eastern Time Hours)

Project Background and Details:

We are seeking a Senior WebRTC Developer to join our team on a 1 year contract to hire project with Epic Games. You will contribute to developing and improving our WebRTC client stack which is critical for in-game real-time voice chat as well as live streaming within Fortnite. This will ensure high concurrency and seamless integration across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
- Guide the implementation of WebRTC across multiple Epic Games teams
- Develop and improve our WebRTC client stack to ship to a large distribution of platforms
- Enrich the client stack with monitoring and tracing tooling
- Give and receive code review feedback from the team to deliver highly performant C++ code

What we're looking for
- Highly proficient in C++ with senior-level professional experience. 6+ years of C++ development.
- Deep understanding of concepts and protocols for WebRTC with professional WebRTC experience
- Hands-on experience in debugging on low-end devices (Android, iOS) or embedded systems
- Self-motivated, tactful, and empathetic
- Experience in designing and maintaining APIs

Interview Process:
Initial recruiter screening followed by a 45-minute final round technical interview with the hiring manager
