ServiceNow Developer

Purpose: This role is responsible for supporting the ServiceNow implementation, providing platform support, handling system integrations, and implementing changes and requests.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure platform stability and performance, including app/plugin installation, updates, and semi-annual upgrades.
• Collaborate with Administrators and End Users to troubleshoot and resolve support issues.
• Contribute to the application roadmap, assisting with design, coding, and troubleshooting.
• Gather and define business, functional, and technical requirements with internal/external users.
• Mentor Administrators and End Users through training and documentation.
• Provide data, reporting, and analytics for business operations and metrics.

Skills and Experience:

• Direct experience with ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, SPM.
• Familiarity with domain-separated instances preferred.
• ServiceNow certifications:
  • CAS (Required)
  • CAD (Preferred)
• Knowledge of Script Includes, Business Rules, Workflows, Flow Designer, Service Catalog, and integrations with third-party platforms.
• JavaScript required; HTML, AngularJS, and API management experience (REST, SOAP) a plus.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum and project management is beneficial.

Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience.
• Strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple projects.
• ITIL/Knowledge Management experience preferred.
