Job Description: SharePoint Developer
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced SharePoint Developer to join our team. The SharePoint Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining customized solutions in SharePoint to enhance business operations and improve user experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Development and Customization:
Design, develop, and implement custom SharePoint solutions using frameworks like SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Platform, and client-side scripting.
Create workflows, forms, and dashboards to support business needs.
Customize SharePoint pages, web parts, and site collections to improve usability and efficiency.
Maintenance and Support:
Provide ongoing maintenance and technical support for SharePoint solutions.
Troubleshoot issues, debug errors, and optimize performance.
Integration and Automation:
Integrate SharePoint with third-party applications and systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, Power BI).
Automate business processes using Power Automate and other tools.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
Provide technical guidance and training to team members and end-users.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in SharePoint development and administration.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and related technologies.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Strong knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, C#, and .NET.
Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and XML for integrations.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure services, and Active Directory.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with teams and stakeholders.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
