Job Overview:As a Shopify Expert, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management and optimization of our Shopify store. This includes customizing the store design, managing product listings, improving site speed, ensuring SEO best practices, and integrating various tools to enhance overall performance. Your role will directly impact the success of our online sales and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Shopify Store Design & Customization: Design and customize Shopify themes to meet business requirements, ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices.
Product Management: Upload and manage product listings, including descriptions, images, pricing, variants, and inventory management.
SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices across product pages, categories, and blog posts to increase organic search traffic.
Performance Optimization: Regularly monitor the site’s performance (loading times, mobile responsiveness, etc.) and implement improvements to enhance user experience and conversion rates.
App Integrations: Integrate and configure various Shopify apps (payment gateways, inventory management tools, shipping calculators, etc.) to streamline business operations.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to the Shopify platform, ensuring that all functions are working smoothly and that the store is error-free.
Analytics & Reporting: Use Shopify analytics and Google Analytics to track performance, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions for store improvements.
Customer Experience: Work closely with the marketing and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive and exceptional customer journey from browsing to checkout.
Requirements:
Proven experience managing and optimizing Shopify stores, with a solid understanding of the Shopify platform, themes, and app integrations.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify’s templating language).
Experience with Shopify Plus is a plus.
Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, and e-commerce analytics tools.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions quickly.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in developing and designing e-commerce stores with a strong focus on user experience and conversion rate optimization.
SQL experience and use Shopify natively without Shopify Plus
Knowledge of other platforms (e.g., Klaviyo for email marketing, Zapier for automation, etc.) is a plus.
Familiarity with the latest Shopify features and trends in the e-commerce industry.
