Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Shopify and Django - Python Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining applications. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and is eager to tackle complex challenges. Shopify Key Responsibilities: Develop, customize, and optimize Shopify themes and templates to meet client requirements. Build and maintain custom Shopify apps and integrations with third-party tools and APIs. Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure visual and functional consistency across all eCommerce platforms. Implement responsive design and ensure compatibility across different devices and browsers. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, bugs, and other technical challenges. Provide insights and recommendations on Shopify platform best practices and emerging trends. Shopify Qualifications: Proven experience as a Shopify Developer, with a strong portfolio of Shopify projects. Proficiency in front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and liquid templating language. Solid understanding of Shopify’s API and app ecosystem, with experience in integrating third-party APIs. Familiarity with backend development and server-side languages (e.g., PHP, Node.js) is a plus. Experience with version control (e.g., Git). Strong attention to detail, with a focus on clean code and performance optimization. Ability to work independently in a freelance environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with remote teams. Experience with Shopify Plus Knowledge of eCommerce best practices, user experience, and conversion optimization. Django - Python Key Responsibilities: Working with team members to understand and define requirements of projects Developing clear and understandable code that is performant Working with team members, knowledge sharing Implement responsive design and ensure compatibility across different devices and browsers. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, bugs, and other technical challenges. Django - Python Qualifications: Proven Experience with Python/Django development Experience with version control (e.g., Git). Fast learner and capable of multitasking Previous experience working in a team environment Strong attention to detail, with a focus on clean code and performance optimization.
