Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Shopify Storefront Developer to join LockNWalk. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our Shopify-based eCommerce storefront to deliver an exceptional customer experience. The ideal canditate is experienced in front-end development and has a strong understanding of Shopify's architecture and Liquid templating language. Responsibilities Theme Development and Customization: Customize and maintain Shopify themes to align with design specifications and user requirements. Front-End Development: Prioritize responsive and mobile-first designs using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Shopify's templating language, Liquid. Performance Optimization: Ensure the website is optimized for speed, user experience, and SEO best practices. Implement best practices in web design to ensure optimal performance across various devices and browsers. Staying Current: Keep up to date with Shopify updates, eCommerce trends, and best practices to continually enhance storefront capabilities. Shopify Integrations: Occasionally integrate third-party apps and custom APIs to enhance the functionality of the Shopify Storefront. Skills Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and Liquid. Experience: Proven experience in developing and customizing Shopify themes. Design & UX knowledge: Strong understanding of responsive design, UX principles, and web accessibility standards. SEO & Performance: Knowledge of SEO principles and website performance optimization techniques. Problem Solving: Strong trobleshooting & debugging skills.
