Position Title: SOA Systems Engineer (US Citizens Only) Location: Remote We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications: Responsibilities: Design and implement SOA-based solutions, including service orchestration, governance, and integration with various systems. Develop and maintain scalable and secure enterprise service buses (ESB) and middleware solutions. Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to integrate systems and applications using SOA principles. Ensure seamless communication and data exchange across heterogeneous platforms. Establish and enforce SOA governance policies, standards, and best practices. Monitor and optimize service performance, ensuring reliability and compliance with organizational requirements. Provide support for SOA systems, troubleshooting issues related to services, APIs, and middleware. Implement enhancements and resolve defects in existing SOA implementations. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Maintain comprehensive documentation for SOA designs, processes, and configurations. Implement security protocols and standards to protect service interactions. Set up monitoring tools to ensure high availability and detect performance issues. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as an SOA Engineer or similar role in an enterprise environment. Strong knowledge of SOA principles, patterns, and technologies. Hands-on experience with ESB platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Oracle Service Bus, Apache Camel, TIBCO). Proficiency in developing and managing APIs using RESTful and SOAP standards. Experience with XML, JSON, WSDL, and related technologies. Experience with middleware platforms and tools (e.g., IBM WebSphere, Apache Kafka). Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of security protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and WS-Security. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Federal Experience is a plus. Required Security clearance.
