Software Developer Job Description:As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for the development and support of software solutions in embedded devices to support and enable the growth of Scale and Control Innovations in its primary objective of serving our customers through our product offering.Regular tasks include: Conceptualizing, designing, coding, testing, implementing, documenting, and supporting high quality applications. Occasionally provide Level II Tech Support to end users of applications. Complete onsite testing of applications on various pieces of construction and over the road equipment. Tasks as required in a Small – Privately Owned Company. Qualifications: 2-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience is required Demonstrated knowledge of application design, development, and implementation Experience with machine control, process measurement, and instrumentation is required Familiarity with project management methodologies, development best practices, secure coding standards, mobile app development, web design are a plus. Knowledge with CODESYS, IQAN, and/or other IEC 61131-3 environments and languages is a plus. Experience with Mobile Construction and Over the Road equipment is desired. Must be able to work remotely. Required office and test equipment will be provided. Work schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours with occasional evening and weekend work as needed, as well as on call rotation.
