Software Developer - .NET | SQL Server | Remote | Permanent Location: Remote Salary: £45k Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Are you an experienced Software Developer with strong .NET and SQL Server skills, looking to work remotely as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking technology team? We're partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit a Software Developer to join their IT Delivery Team. Reporting to the Software Development Team Lead, you'll work as part of a dynamic team to design, build, and maintain in-house software solutions, predominantly using .NET (VB.NET and C#.NET) and SQL Server, along with other supporting technologies. You'll liaise with Business Analysts and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain bespoke software solutions using .NET and SQL Server. Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Provide technical support and contribute to continuous improvement of existing systems. Work within agreed development standards and methodologies. Ensure software solutions comply with data security requirements in collaboration with IT Security and Operations teams. Support secure integration with external platforms and services. Contribute to the evolution of development methodologies and best practices. Requirements Essential: Proven experience with .NET (C#.NET/ASP.NET) and SQL Server (including T-SQL). Experience in building accessible, user-friendly applications for diverse users. Strong problem-solving abilities and logical thinking. Effective communication and collaboration skills within technical teams. Proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to work independently. Desirable: Experience with VB.NET. Exposure to front-end technologies such as jQuery, Angular, CSS.
