Software Developer, eInstant Platform

We are seeking a Software Developer to join our eInstant Platform team. This is a permanent, full-time position where you'll have the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge backend systems that power our globally recognized eInstant games. Veikkaus' eInstant GaaS service and games are trusted already by around fifteen lottery operators worldwide.

In this role, you'll play a key part in creating and enhancing business-critical, high-volume, cloud-native solutions built on a modern composable architecture. With financial transactions at the core, your work will ensure our systems remain secure, high-quality, and easy to maintain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend systems for eInstant games
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
• Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems

Required Skills:

• At least 3+ years of development experience on the backend side
• Proficiency in both Finnish and English
• Good collaboration and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Strong skills in Go and/or Java programming language
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and Terraform
• Experience in cloud environments
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Grafana, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), GCP Bigquery, GCP Cloud Run, GCP Pub/Sub, and Linux
