POSITION OVERVIEW
Roles:
Primary role is software application development and maintenance.
Provide back-up IT support for MRIoA software applications.
Major Responsibilities or Assigned Duties:
Develop new software applications under the direction of Software Development Supervisor / senior developers.
Design, implement, test, document, and maintain software applications according to existing guidelines, coding standards, and industry best practices.
Assist stakeholders in defining scope and specifications for new software solutions by studying business requirements, work processes, and data usage.
Document, investigate, fix, and report on software defects.
Monitor, analyze, refactor, and enhance existing apps and source code.
Research and recommend improvements to our software, processes, and development tools, including cost and time estimates.
Complete other duties as requested.
Mentor, train, and assist more junior developers.
Complete other duties as requested.

Work Environment:
Ability to sit at a desk, utilize a computer, telephone, and other basic office equipment is required. This role is designed to be a remote position (work-from-home).

Requirements:
Skills and Experience:
2+ years of software development experience.
Proficiency in NodeJS.
Proficient in Python.
Familiarity with Windows C++ and Adobe ColdFusion.
Knowledge of SQL Server, GCP, and AWS.
Education:
High School Diploma.
College degree preferred but not required.
