You'll work with modern web technologies across the full stack, contributing to meaningful digital services that make a real-world difference. The Role As a Software Developer, you will: Build and maintain apps using Node.js, Hapi.js, and React Develop responsive UIs using GDS design system and CSS best practices Support deployments in AWS and containerisation with Docker Participate in Agile delivery and contribute to code reviews Troubleshoot across the stack and write clear documentation What We're Looking For Essential: Strong JavaScript skills and web dev experience Backend knowledge with Node.js, frontend with React RESTful API understanding and responsive design basics Familiarity with Git, Agile working, and collaborative tools Understanding of GDS (Government Digital Services) Guidelines Ability to obtain UK SC Clearance if not already in place Desirable: Experience with Hapi.js, Docker, AWS, or DevOps tools Exposure to geospatial data or mentoring others Clearance: Must hold or be willing to obtain SC clearance.
