RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a Software Dev Engineer IV in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities:
* In this role, the Software Development Engineer will design, develop, implement, test, document and deliver large-scale, Generative AI software applications, tools, systems and services using multi-threaded programming, distributed programming in Java and C++, Python, JDBC, SQL, Object Oriented design and design patterns in a Linux environment
* Assist in gathering and analyzing business and functional requirements, and translate requirements into technical specifications for robust, scalable, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture
* The Software Development Engineer will own delivery of entire piece of system or application, and serve as technical lead on complex projects using best practice engineering standards
* Produce comprehensive, usable software documentation

REQUIREMENTS:
* MS in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupations of Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related
* Will accept Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the specialty as equivalent to the Master's degree
* Full stack development experience
* AI and ML experience
* Experience with Java and Python, C++ or .Net
* Experience with multi-threaded programming and distributed programming in Java, Pythyon on Linux
* Experience building Generative AI applications is required

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
