Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a talented and motivated SDET who can hit the ground running and integrate with our development team. As a full member of the agile team, you will help deliver quality software:
Design, implement, and maintain automated and manual tests.
Creation and documentation of test cases and test related procedures.
Discover, investigate, report and track software defects.
Collaborate with product and development team to understand requirements.
Continuously self-learn and evolve following the latest relevant technologies.
REQUIREMENTS
University diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field experience.
4+ years of proven experience as a SDET for web applications or similar role preferred.
Experience in developing automation tests for Web applications.
Experience with test frameworks like Cypress, BDD, Cucumber, Chai, Specflow.
Experience in Javascript, Typescript and object-oriented programming with C#.
Experience with GitLab CI/CD.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
Relevant experience in frontend development using React will be considered an asset.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT
This role requires bilingual proficiency in French and English. English is essential, as the position involves extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams and customers worldwide, where it serves as the primary language of communication.
