ComIT is a charity that has been growing at a rapid pace, running online courses across Canada, and with that, we need to expand our elite team of instructors to help more people get a good job in IT. We’re looking for passionate Ssr/Sr developers that want to make a difference. We’re looking for people who wants to have the chance of contributing to build a world-class social project. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others achieve their goal of entering the IT labor market. Someone who understand this is not just a side job, as we are trying to make an impact in people's lives. Our courses are run online 3 evenings per week, for 3 months. This is a contractor role for the length of the course, with the possibility of running multiple courses per year. The skills you’ll need: Aware of software engineering fundamentals Knowledge of Kotlin, Flutter, or React Native. Passion for teaching and mentoring Willing to lead a group of students with heterogeneous backgrounds Excited about helping others Computer Science or Software Engineering degree or equivalent experience Extremely Flexible: understand that there is no silver bullet to train people, and that we adapt to have the impact needed People we’re looking for: Have a great attitude Keep hustling and understand that we are working to help people change their lives Understand that helping others is a lifestyle!
