Job Overview: We are seeking a Software Documentation Specialist with a strong understanding of the .NET development ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone who has development experience but is more passionate about documenting code, processes, and maintaining comprehensive records of our software's functionality. As a Software Documentation Specialist, you will work closely with developers to ensure that our codebase, APIs, and processes are well-documented, enabling better communication, onboarding, and future development. Key Responsibilities: Create and maintain detailed documentation of code, system architecture, and software processes. Collaborate with developers to understand the functionality and ensure accurate documentation. Write clear and concise technical documents, including API references, system overviews, and user guides. Maintain up-to-date records of software changes, updates, and enhancements. Develop and organize documentation templates and standards for consistency. Assist in onboarding new developers by providing thorough, easy-to-understand documentation. Required Skills & Experience: 2-4 years of experience in software development or technical writing, ideally within the .NET environment. Strong understanding of software development concepts, particularly with .NET technologies. Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical topics clearly. Familiarity with code documentation tools and methodologies. Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams and understand technical concepts.
