Software Engineer OM Group, Inc. is looking for someone to join our team as a Software Engineer to design and develop software solutions for government projects in water resources. You'll collaborate remotely with experts to create and maintain applications that meet critical needs. This is a remote position based in either Alexandria, VA or New Orleans, LA. Responsibilities Design, develop, update, and maintain software applications Manage routine, noncomplex projects independently Collaborate on software architecture and design decisions Provide technical expertise in software engineering Assist on large projects under the guidance of senior engineers Requirements Master's degree in Computer Science with a focus in software engineering, plus three years of experience working in a water resources related field Alternatively, bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a focus in software engineering, three years of experience with water resources, and five years of experience designing and maintaining relevant software applications Proficiency in programming languages relevant to the projects Strong problem solving skills and collaborative abilities Federal Security Clearance: NAC / Public Trust OM Group Inc is a growing company that values your skills, training, and ideas and strives to foster a welcoming, diverse, and inclusive environment.
