OverviewWe are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. Our products improve the reliability of first responder radio networks by detecting and locating sources of radio frequency interference. The ideal candidate will have shown a zeal for coding such as contributions to open source software. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement real-time data visualization applications. Participate in defining software requirements and specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues. Increase the automation of our testing. Implement distributed, multi-user applications. Participate in pair programming to uphold coding standards and best practices. Document software designs, processes, and technical specifications for future reference. Some customer support both remotely and on-site. Skills Proficiency in C++ and familiarity with other technologies such as Python and Java. Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems. Experience with database management systems. Familiarity with radio technology, e.g. military, GNU Radio or amateur. Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
