Platinum Technologies is seeking a skilled Software Engineer specializing in Oracle server maintenance, WebLogic Server (WLS), and WebCenter Content (WCC). The ideal candidate will manage server patching, provide ongoing maintenance, and support critical web services. They will also handle security vulnerabilities, including ISVM and web scan findings, and implement automated notifications for any service outages. What you get to do. Perform Oracle server patching and maintenance for WebLogic Server (WLS) and WebCenter Content (WCC). Mediate and resolve ISVM and web scan security vulnerability findings, collaborating with Oracle as necessary. Set up and maintain a high-availability environment for WebCenter Content. Automate notifications for any critical website and service downtimes. Support applications at a 2nd-level, ensuring smooth operation and addressing issues as they arise. Customize and enhance WCC features using specialized components. Required Skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum three – five (3-5) years experience in WebLogic Server (WLS) and WebCenter Content (WCC) 12c or later. Proficient in installing Java, WLS, and WCC patches, and addressing security vulnerabilities. Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and its impact on web application development. Familiarity with .NET development and experience working with WSDL/API calls is preferred. Minimum two (2) + years experienced working with database systems, specifically Oracle DBMS, and experience integrating databases with .NET web applications. Preferred Skills: Ability to work independently and in a team to maintain system uptime and implement improvements. Experience setting up high-availability environments and supporting enterprise-level applications. Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
