Overview: RedCloud is seeking a skilled software engineer with strong system design who can translate business and operations needs with ambiguous requirements into technical solutions and applications that can be deployed to handle scale. The needs here transcend pipeline and data transformation tasks such as batch job design and triggering, and the ideal candidate has experience in full stack application development. This role will work on standing up new tools within our clients framework from scratch. The highest priority projects will be focused on shifting to AI solutions for operations, and the candidate will need to be familiar with or able to quickly learn how to leverage GCP products and Google AI tools including but not limited to Vertex AI, Vertex AI Conversation Agent Console, Dialogflow CX, and Gemini. Ideally, this role will bring other team members along for some projects, and be able to enable shared workload with them. Any degrees, certifications, or example projects that directly demonstrate hands on experience deploying tools with AI model integrations is a great indicator. Primary Purpose: Design, develop, launch and maintain tools and applications to support business operations of the Data Center Physical Security organization. The tools will primarily support business operations such as process & data intake, data analysis, automation and productivity. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Serve as a subject matter expert for software engineering abilities and practices Train other technical team members and communicate project details to inform others of the next steps Translate requirements into achievable systems and architecture designs Implement designs with environment set up & configuration in platforms like GCP, code development, and deployment workflows Take projects from proof of concept to launch Handle queues for bugs, feature requests, and other request types Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Skills System design Vertex AI, Dialogflow CX Angular Python SQL Code version control and change management like Git Nice to have: Java Experience Full stack application development Vertex AI GCP suite Credentials CS or similar degree 6 years of experience in full stack development RedCloud requires employees have the legal ability to work in the United States during their employment period.
