We’re looking for someone to work as Java Senior Developer. Work as part of an agile development team Design, develop, implement, test, and deploy java software components, in-line with agreed business requirements. Solve challenging problems Master state-of-the-art technologies and a complex business domain Apply best development practices and effectively utilize technologies Work across full delivery cycle to ensure high quality delivery Work independently and be able to communicate with both business and tech stakeholders Challenge issues, call out risks in existing processes and systems in a positive manner, and propose improved solutions Your team: You’ll be working as part of an agile development team in Singapore that is part of a global FX Tech organization. The team is responsible for building, on-boarding and extending FX Connectivity applications. As a Software Engineer, you will play an important role to deliver the best business outcomes by closely collaborating with business stakeholders, product managers and FX Front Office IT. Your expertise: Platform familiarity - Good knowledge of Linux fundamentals and hands on experience in Linux Minimally 8+ years of Experience in Java programming; knowledge around Webservices, databases and messaging engines Good understanding of spring framework, networking and cloud Practical knowledge of windows and shell scripting Management of container-based workloads Implement security practices such as encryption of data in transit and at rest, secrets/certificate management using Vault etc. Experience in the design and implementation of applications build, release, deployment, and configuration activities. FX Domain, Trading domain knowledge will be added advantage
