We are looking for Software Engineers to join Mipro's growing team of professionals. Mipro is a Finnish company specialised in rail traffic and industrial systems. Since 1980 Mipro has been developing safer and more efficient railway and metro traffic and industry processes for water and energy management.

As a Software Engineer for Mipro, your main responsibility lies in developing and programming Software components. You will take ownership independently of the whole process from planning to deploying, including programming, testing and version control with the help of the Product Owner.

We are looking for a person with strong technical mindset and eagerness to learn new things and develop themselves as professionals of this domain. Ideally you would have:

• Studies in related field
• Some experience in similar positions
• Technical mindset and ability to grasp the "big picture"
• Understanding of the technical environment (e.g. relations between SW and HW)
• Systematic way of working and interest in taking responsibility
• Excellent English language skills (Finnish seen as an advantage)

Technical requirements:

• Java
• Swing
• REST APIs
• Experience in both, relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience in testing and automation tools such as JUNIT, Jenkins, Git, Jira

Seen as an advantage:

• C/C++
• Quarkus
• Kafka
• OSGI

Mipro has offices in Espoo, Mikkeli and Oulu, but work mainly in remote setting. Some occasional visits at the office are required.
