We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to take on the role of Lead Developer for our innovative web application designed for the police force. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Next.js, MongoDB, Node.js, and a strong background in working with AI and large language models (LLMs). This individual must be well-versed in creating secure, scalable, and efficient infrastructures for AI-driven applications.
As the Lead Developer, you will take ownership of the existing web app, enhancing its features, and implementing robust security measures to protect sensitive data. Your expertise in integrating and optimizing AI solutions will be instrumental in advancing the platform's functionality and ensuring it meets the demands of the law enforcement community.
This position offers the potential for growth into a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) role, including an equity stake in the company, for the right candidate. The position will begin with a competitive base salary.
Key Responsibilities:
Take over and maintain the existing web app built with Next.js, MongoDB, and Node.js.
Enhance application functionality and integrate AI solutions powered by LLMs to improve user experience and efficiency.
Ensure the application adheres to the highest security standards, protecting sensitive law enforcement data.
Optimize the use of LLMs to deliver accurate, context-aware, and efficient outputs tailored to the platform's needs.
Collaborate closely with leadership to align technical development with strategic goals.
Troubleshoot, resolve technical issues, and implement new features as needed.
Mentor and lead team members, contributing to the company's growth.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Next.js, MongoDB, and Node.js.
Strong background in AI development and integrating large language models (LLMs) into applications.
Experience developing secure, scalable, and reliable web applications.
In-depth knowledge of web application security best practices.
Proven experience with RESTful APIs and server-side rendering.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
Strong communication and leadership skills to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of applications within highly regulated industries such as law enforcement.
Hands-on experience with fine-tuning and deploying LLMs in production environments.
