The Software Engineer will be working on both brownfield and greenfield work. You will be working on a flagship product that is currently experiencing continued growth. Our client builds an industry-leading digital management tool. The development team is emotionally involved, from every user story to wireframe to the line of code, everything has been lived through - 'It's ours, well carry it and develop it'. They are outcome-focused 'how we get there is down to us'! This is a home working role however the Software Engineer will need to be able to get to Cardiff or Bristol (or the surrounding area) relatively easily. Primary responsibilities include Working with a small development team on existing and new projects/applications. Take part in the Daily stand-up (10 am) Manage backlog refinements Influence the product roadmap and assist in refactoring Maintain documentation Help shape existing and new products Influence UI design Experience needed Proven experience in Javascript/Typescript/Node.js in a commercial environment. Experience with AWS services ideally Lambda OR Elasticsearch OR GraphQL OR Appsync Demonstrable experience being a key part of a software development team.
