Job Description: The Software Engineer will participate in the design and development effort for a new software system of a medical device. This is an opportunity for the candidate to apply cross-functional skill sets, creativity and experience in programming, robotics, AI, machine learning or control systems to solve exciting product development challenges. The candidate will help to develop the software, algorithms, and interfaces to realize the functionalities of a robotic surgical system. Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain the GUI and the functionalities of the robotic software application. Develop and test the interfaces between the software and hardware for the robotic surgical system. Collaborate with interdisciplinary R&D team to implement algorithms on robotics, AI, image processing, signal processing, etc. Qualifications: Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related field. All levels are welcomed. Nice To Have: Experience with QT framework. Experience with VTK (Visualization Toolkit), including visualization of 2D images & 3D model, Coordinate transformations, etc. Experience in Linux, medical device, ROS, image processing, CUDA, machine learning, Robotics, etc.
