Role: Profile Host Developer (6 positions)

Length: 12 Months

Project/Context:

• FIS has a group that works on legacy core banking systems. These positions are specifically for their Profile core banking platform.
• Profile was recently repositioned as a strategic core product by FIS (around October of last year). This has led to renewed interest and investment from existing Profile customers.
• There are several clients interested in doing upgrades and renewals of their Profile systems.
• These Senior Profile Host Developers will be working on these upgrade and renewal projects for FIS clients (Cadence Bank is one).
• The immediate need is driven by clients wanting to move quickly on these projects.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Core Requirement: Strong experience (ideally 5+ years, but open to 3 4 years of recent experience) in MUMPS and PSL (Profile Scripting Language).
• MUMPS: A proprietary FIS code base that Profile was originally built on. Some clients may still be running older versions.
• PSL (Profile Scripting Language): The language Profile was transitioned to approximately 8 10 years ago (similar to Java).
• Essential: Expertise on the Profile Core banking system is crucial. (If they have PSL, they will have Profile experience.)
• Banking Knowledge: Foundational understanding of banking operations would be highly beneficial, as the Profile system is used by financial institutions.
• Not a Substitute: Java experience alone is not a substitute for PSL experience. The core logic and functionality of Profile are in PSL, and prior experience within the platform is necessary.
• Training Limitations: The client group currently has limited capacity or opportunity to train new resources on Profile.
  They are looking for individuals who can hit the ground running on client projects.

• Tanner is okay to see candidates that have not used Mumps or PSL in 3 4 years, anything past that he is not open to.
