Coinbase is seeking experienced frontend engineers to build the next generation of trading products and features, solving large-scale, complex problems to deliver secure, low-latency, high-frequency applications on cloud infrastructure. As part of the International Trading team, you'll help bring Coinbase’s high-performance trading platform to global markets, working closely with the US team to enhance systems, drive adoption in international regions, and deliver features that support liquidity, execution, and strategic decision-making. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to ensure our trading infrastructure is optimized for speed, efficiency, and usability. What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties): Work with Product, Engineering & Design leadership to craft engaging experiences for trading flows for advanced traders while owning end-to-end delivery. Implement scalable, extensible, maintainable and high quality code for web and mobile while keeping the customer experience & quality top of mind. What we look for in you: You have at least 2+ years of experience with trading or building trading products in traditional finance or crypto spaces. You have at least 2+ years of experience in developing web or mobile apps and shipping user-facing features with JavaScript and modern, component-based JS frameworks like React. You’re familiar with current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, security and usability. You’re familiar with product and design life-cycles, and collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and product managers. You write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers. Nice to haves: Experience with GraphQL and React Relay for data fetching & rendering. You have knowledge of Protobuff and GRPC. Experience in backend development, especially with Golang and MongoDB. Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain-based services. Job #: GCFE04SG
