Purpose

AbbVie’s EPIC team is a company-internal software incubator, dedicated to building and scaling cutting-edge technology products for internal use, to enhance productivity and help AbbVie find cures faster. Our generative AI and large language model (LLM) workstream is looking for a developer specializing in building agentic AI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean, scalable, well-optimized Python code
• Work with a team of experts to determine optimal system design
• Develop sensible unit tests and anticipate edge cases
• Implement agentic workflows, from scratch where necessary
• Understand the LLM landscape and help to evaluate the right tools for the right tasks
• Support multiple projects and advocate for optimal solutions
• Learn new skills and approach problems creatively
• Work within constraints, including cost and security
• Multi-task and work within timelines
