Role Overview
As an Android Engineer for the Fleets team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to redefine the rideshare experience. Your work will focus on enhancing experiences with premium vehicles, professional driver tools, and innovative systems like Express Drive.

Key Responsibilities

• Stay updated on the latest Android technologies and industry trends.
• Develop exceptional user experiences for millions of riders and drivers.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to transform ideas into impactful features.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Diagnose, debug, and resolve technical issues and bugs.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years in Android software engineering.
• Proven track record of shipping large-scale Android applications.
• Proficiency in Kotlin (Java experience is a plus but not mandatory).
• Familiarity with architecture paradigms like unidirectional and reactive programming.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose, unit and snapshot testing, and building shared components.
• Strong product sense, emphasizing usability and design excellence.
• A collaborative mindset with a low-ego approach to teamwork.

Bonus Points

• Experience with side projects or contributions to open-source initiatives.
