The Drones Doing Good Alliance (DDG Alliance) invites experienced software engineers to submit a proposal for the development of the Check First App.
The Check First app is designed to provide drone operators with clear, accessible, and location-specific regulatory information to ensure safe and legal drone operations. By selecting their drone type and pinpointing their current or planned flight location, users receive immediate feedback on applicable rules, restrictions, and necessary approvals. This streamlined process aids in preventing unintentional violations, promotes compliance with local and international laws, and enhances overall airspace safety.
The app will initially be developed for one African country, with the potential for replication in additional African countries.
We seek a skilled and experienced software engineer with a proven track record of developing functional, user-friendly mobile applications. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in app development, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality results efficiently.
