You will work in an organization that is responsible for core tier-one services like Authentication, User and Group Management, and Governance and Administrative Experiences. You will work on features that are popular with some of our largest clients. These features include enterprise-level administrative tools, in addition to backend services that define governance policies for enterprise plans. You will work with a fast-paced, motivated, and exciting group of engineers who are experts with technologies including, but not limited to, React, Typescript, Java, Spring Framework, NodeJs and DynamoDB. You will report to our Engineering Manager located in our Bellevue, WA office, or you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is a registered employer. You Will: Build scalable front and back-end services for the next generation of applications at Smartsheet (React, Typescript, Java) Solve challenging distributed systems problems and work with modern cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes) Take part in code reviews and architectural discussions as you work with other software engineers and product managers Mentor junior engineers on code quality and other industry best practices Forge a strong partnership with product management and other key areas of the business You Have: 2+ years software development experience building highly scalable, highly available applications 2+ years of programming experience with full stack technologies such Java, React, or TypeScript 2+ years of experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) Experience developing, documenting, and supporting REST APIs A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience Legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis Get to Know Us: At Smartsheet, we've created a place where everyone is welcome — people from all over the world, all backgrounds, all ages, all colors, and all beliefs working side by side.
