Role: Software Engineer Lead

Summary:

The Software Engineer Lead will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining computer systems software across operating systems, networked systems, and database platforms. The role involves building software platforms and fine-tuning programs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate hardware-software interfaces, define performance specifications, and address customer concerns.
• Advise clients on software maintenance or perform maintenance as needed.
• Lead software system testing and validation.
• Communicate project status, proposals, and technical details (such as software system design and maintenance) with clients or other departments.
• Oversee software programming efforts and ensure comprehensive documentation is developed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Modernize the payments platform by refactoring or creating new code in Java, Oracle, and MySQL as needed. Participate in team ceremonies and identify potential risks.
2. Code and unit test software, implement database solutions, and ensure production-ready deployment of software and databases.
