Vikco is seeking a full time Software Engineer I to join its team in their San Diego, CA office. Vikco offers the opportunity to join an established company in growth mode. Salary: $65,000-70,000 USD Per Year Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Contribute in all phases of the software development lifecycle Write well designed, testable efficient code Ensure designs are in compliance with specification Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies Collaborate with software engineers and project managers; work independently under time constraints and respond to evolving requirements Qualifications: Required education and experience: Bachelor’s in computer science Proficiency in Java Understanding and skills in software design and code, including object-oriented programming Preferred: HTML/CSS and JS, XML, JSON, REST APIs and SOAP Database skills (MySQL), querying and design Version control Development tools (Eclipse, Visual studio code, Apache tomcat) Learn more about Vikco and K2 Insurance Services at www.k2ins.com
