Job Summary We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role you must have experience in SQL queries and database design. Must have experience in configuring, deploying, and managing applications on different web application servers. Must have good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic work environment. Must have experience in test-driven development. Duties Designs and develops applications using defined software application development lifecycle methodologies. Works closely with team members through the full software development lifecycle: business/systems analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, development, testing and delivery. Interacts with business stakeholders to solidify requirements and choose best solutions. Designs and develops software applications and services using third and fourth-generation programming languages. Analyzes, designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents all assigned components and conduct peer code review. Follow solid engineering practices including configuration management using CM tools such as Subversion or CVS, and documentation according to ISO standards. Skills The ideal candidate should possess a combination of the following skills: Proficiency in Linux environments. Experience with MySQL and SQL databases. Familiarity with AWS cloud services. Knowledge of APIs for application integration. Understanding of Quantum engineering concepts (nice-to-have). Proficient in Ruby on Rails for web application development. Experience using GitHub for version control. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure principles. Proficiency in Java programming language.
