General information Country United States State New York City New York Job ID 42617 Department Development Description & Requirements A Day in The Life Typically Includes: Position will build, design, develop and support Infor's software hosted solutions Work with Products and Professional Services teams to translate business requirements into short-term solutions and long term products Maintain and enhance existing GT Nexus software products Analyze and tune performance of GT Nexus applications Work on software applications used for Supply chain management and ERP based on cloud Monitor and design Infor’s software programs to improve performance Analyze project data to determine specifications or requirements Collaborate with others to determine design specifications or details Develop and implement project software; provide technical support for software maintenance or use; and Document technical specifications or requirements in order to develop technical solutions for Infor’s software systems Telecommuting permitted up to 100% Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Five (5) years of progressive related post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered, or in a Senior Software Engineer-related occupation Demonstrable proficiency in Java and J2EE technologies, JSP and Eclipse to code and develop web based software Demonstrable proficiency in Linux and/or Unix-like operating systems to view logs and run software Demonstrable knowledge of HTML and Javascript/CSS to write front end code and to develop web based software Demonstrable proficiency in SQL and RDBMS tools like SQL Server and Oracle to create query statements that run backend software Demonstrable knowledge of serialization using XML and Json Demonstrable knowledge of version control tools such as Git or similar LOCATION: 641 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY 10011 We anticipate paying between $179,982 to $200,000 per year.
