POSITION DESCRIPTION
The main duties include, but are not limited to:
Primary Responsibilities
* Conduct QA surveillances of software documentation.
* Review software development documents and verification and validation reports.
* Ensure effective implementation of DOE O 414.1D, 10 CFR 830, NQA-1, and other applicable contract requirements within the H2C SQA program.
* Develop, maintain and implement the graded approach for software quality assurance activities in accordance with DOE O 414.1D
* Apply principles and practices of Software Quality Assurance competently.
* Perform oversight activities for software procurement and software development projects.
* Participate in the development, review and approval of software development and management procedures. Ensure appropriate levels of software quality assurance integration.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Analyze, evaluate, and plan methods to solve complex technical problems.
* Provide leadership for quality assurance and quality control support on assigned programs and/or areas to ensure compliance with customer and company quality requirements.
* Plan, schedule, and participate in or lead QA program audits, surveillances, and assessments in support of assessment and corrective action programs.
* Assist with effective Management/Independent assessments and implement appropriate surveillance and audit activities through participation in Project Readiness Reviews, Project Planning, and Project Schedule Forecasting meetings.
* Participate in external industry information sharing such as ASME code committees, EFCOG meetings and other forums as applicable.
