Qualifications: - Attention to detail and organized - Can learn and understand complex business requirements - Operates with a growth mindset, and demonstrates an appetite for learning new technologies. - A willingness to be agile and nimble in a startup environment. - An openness to engage with clients - Experience in testing REST APIs with automation tools such as Postman - Worked with SQL databases, can perform queries and analysis the correctness of data - Experience writing automated test scripts with Cyprus or similar framework - Programming background with experience in JavaScript, Python or other similar languages We are looking for someone who can test a variety of applications through both manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate will have foundational skills with ability and interest in learning more. The job includes - Develop test strategies, test plans/cases, automation scripts (API/UI level scripts) to efficiently validate product design and requirements. - Log defects and work closely with developers to investigate, troubleshoot and verify defect fixes - Collaborates with other members of their scrum team to deliver value each sprint. - Manual testing of newly developed features - Develop postman scripts to test APIs - Build UI layer automated script with Cyprus or Web Test Runner - Security and compliance validation Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $60,000.00 per year Benefits: Casual dress Dental care Extended health care Flexible schedule Work from home Schedule: Monday to Friday Experience: quality assurance: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: Remote Expected start date: 2025-01-13
