Job Description
As a Software Tester at Medline Industries LP, you will play a key role in supporting the software testing process, with a focus on test automation. Working closely with development teams, you will help automate test cases, identify issues, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automation Support: Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, UFT, and other open-source solutions.
- Test Strategy Contribution: Support the creation of test automation strategies and plans that align with the software development lifecycle.
- Automating Test Cases: Help automate functional, regression, and performance test cases, ensuring they are maintainable and efficient.
- Collaboration: Work with scrum teams to integrate automation practices, enabling early and continuous testing of software components.
- Tool Utilization: Use automation tools effectively to support running test suites across different environments for comprehensive test coverage.
- Defect Identification: Assist in identifying defects during automated testing and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on new trends and technologies in test automation to help optimize testing processes.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of automation test scripts, test cases, and defect tracking.
Job Requirements:- Automation Experience: 2-4 years of experience in test automation, including the development and execution of automated test cases.
- Tool Knowledge: Familiarity with test automation tools like Selenium, UFT, or similar frameworks.
- Agile Experience: Experience working within Agile or Scrum teams, with some understanding of how automation fits into the workflow.
- Technical Skills: Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and experience in web services testing using tools like SOAP or Postman.
- Cross-Browser Testing: Exposure to running tests across different browsers and environments.
- Continuous Integration: Understanding of CI/CD processes and how to integrate automated tests into them.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, continuously seeking improvements in testing processes.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$85,280.00 - $123,760.00 Annual
The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
