Job Title: Software Verification & Validation Engineer Location: Remote work (Phoenix, AZ) Duration: Full Time Must be in to S/W engineers Job Description: As an Avionics Verification Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and certification of avionics systems in accordance with DO-178B/C guidelines. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that all avionics software meets safety and performance standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute verification and validation plans for avionics software and systems in compliance with DO-178B/C guidelines. Conduct reviews of software requirements, design, and architecture to ensure traceability and compliance. Design and implement test cases and procedures, including unit, integration, and system-level testing. Analyze test results, document findings, and provide recommendations for software improvements. Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience in avionics software verification and DO-178B/C compliance. Strong knowledge of software verification and validation methodologies and tools. Must be Qualifications: Certification or training in DO-178B/C or related standards. Experience with HSIT, SIT and low level testing. Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
