Position: Solution Engineer


Role Overview

As a Solution Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in designing, aligning, and showcasing our solutions to meet customer needs. You will support the sales journey end-to-end, from initial client engagement through to handover, contributing to campaigns, developing opportunities, responding to Rfx documents, and delivering persuasive, tailored product demonstrations. This position involves regular travel to support business development and implementation efforts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales leads through to successful business awards.
  • Deliver engaging, impactful sales demonstrations for prospective clients.
  • Stay informed about procurement and finance legislation, trends, and practices.
  • Develop high-quality responses to Rfx documents.
  • Maintain an up-to-date demonstration environment and manage sales materials.
  • Act as the ‘voice of the customer’ by developing proof-of-concepts in collaboration with Product Management.
  • Influence product strategy through close collaboration with Product and Development Managers.
  • Maintain a flexible, well-organised schedule to meet deadlines and support team objectives.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with the Sales team and wider business.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a qualification in procurement, accounting, or business is advantageous.
  • Experience: Proven track record of providing IT-based solutions, with experience in software and consulting sales or implementation.
