Position Details:

Title: SQL Developer

Contract: 2-3 month contract

Start Date: End of November

Location: Fully remote within Canada (EST)

Compensation: $40-$45/hour

Hours: 35-40/week

Strong proficiency in SQL and experience managing SQL Server instances.

Experience with SQL IaaS, specifically SQL Server on Azure VMs.

Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fully remote setting.

Design tables, stored procedures, views, indexes, user defined functions, and other objects to support delivery on multiple Tier 1 and Tier 2 applications.

Analyze and performance tune SQL queries to reduce the response time without impacting the application.

Implement and document better practices for object creation , maintenance , performance tuning and optimization for future development.

Technologies: SQL MI (SQL Managed Instance)/ SQL IaaS (ex. SQL server on Azure VMs)
