Job Overview:

This role will be responsible for proactively developing reporting structures, improving business processes, and guaranteeing data consistency and availability. This role is also responsible for supporting the development of data warehousing and BI applications on the Microsoft SQL Server platform and will provide technical advice to all levels of the company as well as external clients.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of strong MS SQLServer Developer experience with expertise in MS SQL Server 2016/2014/2012/2008 suite of products like SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS.
• Proficient in the use of T-SQLfor developing complex Stored Procedures, Triggers, Tables, Views, User Defined Functions, Relational Database models and Data integrity, and SQL
• Experience in creating Indexes, Indexed Views in observing Business Rules and creating Effective Functions and appropriate Triggers to assist efficient data manipulation and data consistency.
• Expertise in working on all activities related to the development, implementation, administration and support of ETL processes for large-scale Data Warehouses using SSISwith MS SQL 2016/2014/2012/2008.
• Experienced in creating many complex SSISpackages with complicated transformations using SQL Server Integration Services.
• Proficient in Database performance optimization, debugging and tuning using the Query Analyzer, SQLProfiler and SQL Server Debugger.
• Experienced in Logical and Physical Database design & development, Data Conversion, Normalization and Data modeling using Erwin, Microsoft Visio and SQLServer Enterprise manager.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, investigate, and resolve data quality issues in enterprise applications while safeguarding against data loss
• Responsible for data mapping, including facilitating business decisions that may be required to map data
• Guide decision makers in determining where to place specific data while considering business purposes, and how the location of certain data will incur particular risks
• Take a lead in preventing data quality issues by identifying frequent user errors, and working with business units to strengthen user competence
• Provide recommendations for appropriate methodologies for migration, cleansing, execution management, etc
• Support in systems design and architecture in business systems applications, Business Intelligence, Reporting, web programming, data extracts, and systems interfaces
• Support change management and production support to specific designated business systems applications and the corresponding data bases
• Support the design and development of integration projects required to incorporate new data sources in to the data warehouse while providing data stewardship and ensuring the integrity of the data model is maintained
• Diligently make changes to the Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) programs as well as maintain the dimensional data models in the enterprise data warehouse system
• Actively be involved with the maintenance and configuration of Data Warehouse infrastructure

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
