We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend solutions using Node.js and associated technologies.
Job Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
Design and implement scalable, robust, and secure RESTful APIs.
Work closely with front-end developers, architects, and product managers to build new features and improve existing systems.
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
Implement security best practices in all backend components.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Collaborate with DevOps for deployment, monitoring, and system improvements.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in backend development.
Requirements
Candidate Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.
5+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js and ExpressJS.
Strong experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience with databases such as MongoDB, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Experience with unit and integration testing.
Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure and CI/CD tools.
